Cues of glasses are brought to the batch preparation area on a retractable top. Once the desired number is reached, the bulkheads forming the plane open, dropping the slats onto a plane below. This operation is repeated several times until the set number of layers is achieved. Finally, a pusher introduces the slats inside the previously formed carton. At the same time, the pre-glued cartons are individually taken from a magazine by suction cups, unbuckled, preformed, and placed in the filling area. The pusher then places the products inside the carton, and then the flaps are closed by PVC tape or hot-melt glue.
